Was thinking this morning, what with the improvised device(s?) being found – what WOULD the repercussions be if somehow one of these dissident groups somehow managed to actually kill her?

Of course there would be…….it would mean certain war. That’s why the Irish government is so concerned about the security surrounding Her Majesty.

World War 1 kicked off as a result of the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand. Does anyone seriously think that Her Majesty Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the British Dominions, and Commonwealth, and, Defender of the Faith, is any less important than some two-bit Austrian Archduke ? FFS.

And I expect our allies to also declare war on the Republic Ireland with immediate effect. Although the Yanks will probably wait a couple of years and come along for the last knockings …….they usually do.
