   Someone I know was after a laxative recently.

   I "innocently" advised that I'd heard that picolax was about the most effective. The only thing that stopped them asking for picolax in Boots was the size of the queue.

    I had a full endoscopy earlier in the year and got given Fleet to take the day before the appointment (sounds like it must the same sort of thing as Picolax).

    By the 40th sprint to the loo to fire another burst of muddy water down the pan you lose the will to live. Just as it settles down you have to take the evening dose and it all starts again. 'Raw' doesn't even come close!

    Just to be controversial - compared with living with IBS most days - the day I spend on picolax was almost a pleasure!

    Seems to depend on the individual and what they're used to.
