Had one of those rides today with a couple of the lads.

    Sun out.
    Dry trails.
    No crashes.
    No mechanicals.
    Knee didn’t let go.
    Didn’t swallow any flies.
The best bit of downhill was described as a [ponce]”Velvet rollercoaster” [/ponce].
    Plenty of banter.

    Ahhh. 😀

One of those glad to be alive afternoons.

I’ve had a bottle of red. Will regret it in the morning.

    I was on this ride.

First time I’ve not had an SPD-off in ages.

I’m a fat ‘n’ but I rode it well and climbed good.

    Looking forward to next time.

Perfect ride fo me is when you cover ground effortlessly, don’t notice the climbs and never faulter on the descents, just ridng at one with the trail, you finish whenever and can’t remember where you’ve been.

no time restaints, start whenever… finish just because.

A ride without memory…….at one, machine and nature…harmony, the source.
