I think I'm going to pop up there for a day next week. I fancy riding around 30k, probably in the southern/western area (closest to me, see?). I've got a couple of ideas but would appreciate recommendations from anyone who knows the area!

Probably a wee bit long for someone's who's hardly ridden in two months! Cheers anyway

    20 miles?
Just go the length of Rudland Rigg and back, and a couple of side-swipes down & up the scarps.

We did one from Levisham that included goathland, fylingdales and the hole of horcum that was about that. Good fun. don't have any online mapping, but it's on the OS.

Start at Sutton Bank Visitor's Centre

    Join the dots
Substitute some more of the Whitestone Cliff track on the way back if you still feel fit
