If anyone fondly recalls the film, as I do, they may remember a scene in which the character John Bender is using the crawl space above a ceiling to get from one location to another in the school. As he does so, he tells himself a joke involving a blonde walking into a bar with a six-foot sausage (salami, perhaps?).
The rest is hazy, but crucially, as he gets to the punchline, the ceiling collapses and he falls to the floor.
The character is okay, but we never get to hear the end of the joke.
'Tis a long shot, I know, but would anyone know how that joke ends?
I suppose I could use my imagination, but I reckon it wouldn't be so funny. In fact, it would probably be a whole different kinda film, if you know what I mean....hurgh, hurgh.
