    Is it ok to ride on a road bike? From Bodmin, north to Hellandbridge.

    I rode it years ago on my cx but can’t remember if it would be suitable for a road bike/tyres.

    Kind of. I wouldn’t want to take a shiny new pride and joy down it, its basically a gravel resurfaced old railyway track.

    I wouldn’t do it with race tyres on like Michelin Pro4s or Continental Grand Prix 4000 but I did it a few years ago with 25mm Schwalbe Marathons on. That was in the Summer when it was quite dry as well.
