Brownbacks racing, really good scenery, freindly locals, good marshalling and lots of prizes provided by a the numerous sponsors.
Oh and its a closed circuit so good for spectators and plenty of medical cover.

As events go I really enjoyed the Edinburgh Nocture Crit race. Great fun to watch, central city setting, the Folding Bike Race. Stood on Victoria St with a pint of Kruijkssvcceicejk in my hand.

Predictably this turns into a list of pretty much every event in the UK, though I'm amazed no-one else has mentioned the Singletrack Weekender. Close to top of my list the past two years. Would also add my vote to 10@Kirroughtree, and of course SSUK is always fun.

Welsh Ride Thing ... but obviously I would say that.
Surprised we're onto the second page and Trans Wales hasn't had a mention, thought the world and his dog loved it.

+1 for Raasay Rumble, epic event in an awesome location with mad weather
Bonty 24/12 since its been down at Plymouth
Sleepless at Trentham was always good too
Also loved Dusk til Dawn when they still let tandems in, still good but was more fun and more of a challenge on the tandem
Kielder Classic too in the early 90's for the fact it was a combined enduro, trials, DH and race event in one

My Nans 80th birthday party was pretty memorable.. especially the way her face changed from mischievous to mortified when she farted and followed through halfway through her trifle..

Puffer, for those hard and stupid enoughYou don't have to be hard and stupid to do the 'Puffer, but it's guaranteed you'll be hard (frozen solid) and stupid (sleep deprivation) by the end of it

The Malvern Classics. Cant believe only one other person mentions it, are none of you old skool enough

I've done both Singletrack Weekenders so far and really enjoyed them both, there's nothing else like them that I know of, lets hope there's a 2011 Weekender.
Brownbacks, well organised, challenging courses and not too serious, managed to do 4/5 this year, hope to be back fitter next year!
Did the '09 Kielder Avalanche Enduro & the '10 Ae Enduro, which are a fantastic race format. Looking forward to the UK Gravity Enduro series next year which promises to be a similar sort of thing.
