    … what is your choice?

I’m going for Nancy Sinatra’s Bang Bang in the opening sequences of Kill Bill Vol. 1.

+1 The Doors The End in Apocalypse Now.

Trainspotting with Lust for Life is cracking too

My favourite would be Rosie Perez dancing to Public Enemy in Do the Right Thing

Can’t remember the film name but the playover was Roll Away the Stone by Mott the Hoople. If Werewolves of London was at the intro of a Paul Newman film then I’d go for that (was it a sequel to the Hustler?).

I was gonna say Trainspotting, but looks like I’ve been beaten to it 😉

Not the best film but the song sets an apocalyptic feel to it.

Not quite the opening scene, but the OH **** moment when he wanders out of the hospital for the first time in 28 Days Later, accompanied by Massive Attack always does it pretty well for me…

It’s not quite the opening song but ‘Uncle F**ker’ by Terence and Philip at the start of the South Park Movie was just incredible.

Lots of good ones already – Another Danny Boyle: the Free Blood track starting 127 Hours worked brilliantly, I thought.
I’d bought the album a few months before seeing the film and was thinking ‘This is damn familiar!’
