What was the RRP? How much did it cost you? What do you want for it; you must have some idea? 50% of RRP is a good guide I think.
Sounds like some decent parts, you could always split it up. The key is to not be in a rush to sell; you’ll almost certainly get your price if you’re prepared to wait. Plus, if a buyer is prepared to pay an honest amount, then the chances of them being genuine is greater I think, especially someone buying a high value item like your bike.
So, stick it on ebay, BIN or Best Offer with a high price. Be prepared to decline countless offers and wait for someone who appears to be genuine. If you’re a good judge of character then you should be alright.
One thing I personally wouldn’t do is post a bike though, seems like a greater potential for something to go wrong.
