    hammering in the star fangled nut….crack!….steerer split!
    had to saw off the 2 inches i was planning to use to clamp the stem to, now held on with a nice long bolt/top cap and one bolt of the stem…glad its a hack bike…
    made me laugh, i made sure i had lots of spacers before i started! 😆
    this happen to anyone else?

    I've had things that have never happen to me before happen to me.

    She seemed understanding but I expect she was quite cross when I told her that. Try having a bath next time love, and actually make some effort to get involved.
