I’m just about to order some terraduro HV’s for general Spd duties.

I have wide feet and am usually 8-8.5 in most shoes. Ive got some giro privateer that are a 43 in std width and are only any good with thin socks. I thought I’d try the terraduro in HV spec and wondered if I should go true to size or go for a 43?

Anyone sized up with the HV or gone true to size in the shoe?

Privateers (old model) will be on classifieds when I get 5 minutes. Unused but no box as the wife binned it so unable to return to wiggle.

I’m a 45 in most footwear (and shimano) and find my 45 Terraduros are for the thinnest of socks only. I have some 46 HVs and they let me get away with wearing thick sealskins without being too loose in normal socks.

I have a set of HV in 43 and started off only with thin socks – they do give a bit and now I can get ticker merino socks in with ease. Admittedly they are well used but easily the best shoes I have owned!

Crashrash what’s your usual shoe size ?
