I am going to ride a variation of the 500 route at the start of October and need a new tent as my old one has seen better days.

I am tempted by the luxe hexpeak v4 from backpacking light but can’t find many reviews of multi day use in potentially wet weather.

The alternative is something like the wild country coshee.

I have used laser style tents before but don’t enjoy the noise on windy days.

Any experience of the hexpeak or useful alternatives welcomed.

That’s what I use in the north of Scotland in October (and November, December, January and March)

I used my new MSR Reflex Carbon in Feb and it was pretty good in rain hail and snow, thin but not too cold.
