    Fig rolls, Jelly babies, Malt loaf, Yorkshire brack plus at the moment salty vimto…………………………….. the lasts not that nice really but seems to work

    Jaffa cakes and I always try to ensure we pass by the burger van that sells Ostrich burgers at about lunch time.

    High protein, low in fat full of energy mmmm Ostrich.

    I really enjoy the "Rich Fruit" version of Soreen – it's a bit more cakey.

    I have to say that on a big ride I like a sandwich or a Pork Pie as I get sick of eating sweet stuff.

    Snickers and bananas. maybe jam sandwiches if i don't fancy the chocolate. Recovery drinks? beer or red wine surely?

    Compacted Malt Loaf ( sqeeze it for 24 hours under something heavy , compacts it down to about 2" , easy to carry and tastes the same )
