    Want to put Shimano crankset ( yes, some folk do consider their road cranks to be gopping) onto CAAD10 so need these shims.
    Has anyone encountered problems by doing this?

    Well, to be honest I wasn’t aware you could shim them to do that, but personally, I wouldn’t. Cranks are the creakiest things on bikes and take a lot of stress and crap thrown at them and I can’t imagine adding a shim is going to do anything other than cause problems somewhere down the line. Personally, I’d stick with the 30mm axle.

    Creaky.
    Bin the bb30 bearings and use one of these and a ht2 bb

    Let’s just say that they only expect to make about 10 out of the salvage from this 😉

    We use Parlee BBkts for the Shimano conversion, that way there are no shims and no creak, really nice quality too
