After a particularly wet and muddy ride I stuck my bike in the garage only to find in the next ride that the rear brake was sticking (karma for not washing it). After buggering about with cable tension etc I decided to replace the brake cable and housing, only to find that it’s made no difference at all. Which makes me think that it’s the caliper that’s now sticking. Had a look online and the Tekro website but can find any details on how to service the caliper.

Anyone got any experience of this or a link to servicing details?

    Cheers

They’re a piece of piss to strip down and service. Here’s a guide http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/psa-trp-spyre-rebuild-guide

I found bending the spring out slightly (the one that sits on the pistons) seemed to help with the sticking. Another tip, remember which cams are for which side and keep them separate. I got them mixed up first time I stripped them.
