Other half is getting a Spesh Rockhopper on the old C2W scheme. It comes with Tektro discs. Anyone know who stocks spare olives and the like or does anyone know if Avid / shimano / magura / type spares do the job?

Hoses are about a mile too long and really need trimming down.

upgrade are uk importers , thats the same folk that do kinesis frames , oval components and dmr stuff.

They carry a good range of spares for them , depending on the model/year of the brake deore pads fit in them

also if you are buying from a shop on the C2W scheme id expect them to chop em down to a useable length (i certainly would do it if it was my sale !)

It’s the sort of attention to detail I used to give when I worked in a shop but it just doesn’t seem to happen any more. Interesting to know that the deore pads fit. They’re a mineral oil brake as well. i wonder how much of the other stuff fits?
