Right i wanted to fine tune my Float X CTD tonight, mainly i want to adjust the rebound.

Following instructions from the Fox website i have the shock in Descend mode, and a 2mm allen key to use.

When i insert the allen key into the red dial and move it in either direction it seems to stop after what feels like to me 1 click? literally a mm or two max either way? should this move more ?

is there a allen key bolt to secure the dial from moving? it looks like there may be but i’m not touching it just incase it actually holds the whole shock together?

    advice appreciated

should move more than that, mine has about 17 clicks of adjustment before it stops. can you take it to the shop you got it from?

hmmm sounds like theres a problem with mine then, it definitely feels like theres something stopping it from moving in either direction.

I’ll have to factor in the 4 hour round trip to the bike shop !
