looking to get a second computer in the house…….

have been told (by Curry's – so almost definitely wrong) that Office 2003 won't run on Vista and I'll have to buy the latest version – is that right? Pretty sure it isn't

and will I need to buy another Norton license? (I have Norton Internet Security) – spent a very frustrating 1/2 hour trying to get some sense out of the Norton web-site

    thanks

Oh and dump Norton – it's crap – just use AVG free instead.

Can't believe Currys can get away with giving advice like that! Well, I can but it's still not on!

I'm running 2003 on Vista without problems. Not sure about the Norton License but you'd be better off with Kaspersky anyway – you can pick a legitimate copy up for £10-15 🙂

Try installing Norton with the same key and see what happens – worst that'll happen is it will say no 🙂

Actually, worst that can happen is it'll let you install Norton 🙂

Her indoors has Office 2003 on her Vista laptop.

I thought most Norton products let you use 3 computers off one licence?
