Morning all, posted this yesterday evening but got no response.

Got an On-One whippet coming soon (used frame). Currently has a BB installed but I don;t know how worn it might be.

Q1) Can I put my sram x0 cranks straight through this BB?
Q2) Is this (the MTB one) what it takes if I want a replacement?
    Link

Q3)Is the only difference between the two BB’s linked above the length of the plastic sleeve that separates the cups? And if so could you use a road one of these if you used the old sleeve from a previous BB? Reason I ask is I have a road one kicking about in the garage somewhere.

Q4) Can you press the cups in with a large flat vice like with a headset and if so can anyone recommend a cheap removal tool?

    Any advice is greatly appreciated

    Cant see the links…

Shimano HTII/Race Face is different to SRAM GXP
Hope can be converted to run GXP (my preferred option)
SRAM GXP is your other option

I can’t get the link to work?

What type of bb is in the frame? If it’s gxp then the x0 cranks should fit

    On one says
    Bottom Bracket shell Pressfit 92
    if it’s this one http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FROOCWH/on-one-carbon-xc-whippet-frame
This one from Hope will work and probably last

    You might struggle, BB92 is Shimano’s standard…

There might be some adapters kicking about though, best get googling.

There are BB92/ SRAM bottom brackets on the market. I’d probably get rid of the ones in the frame anyway and fit new

    What’s the difference between BB72 and BB92?

So I need one of these?

After thinking about it, I don’t know why I typed that, I had a bike with BB92 she’ll with GXP cranks.

BETD do Enduro bearings that for them too from memory, probably a bit longer lasting than the SRAM one!
