I’d rather ride up these mountains rather than down on a road bike.

Club chairman came off at near 50mph on a ride in spain on a descent. It was quicker to list the bones he didn’t break. What speed do these guys hit? Never got above 50mph myself but I suspect 60+mph?

I love riding up mountains on a road bike. And I love riding down them on a mountain bike. Not vice versa. (Except for tricky single track climbs on the mtb, of course..).

+2 40mph is about my limit on a road bike and I’m not really comfy with that, too stretched out, too twitchy not enough brake/grip
