Could be unrelated, but that road’s been resurfaced recently (tar then fine chippings on top), when I was up there the chippings had heaped up on the edges & middle of the road.

Voeckler went into a car (the car Geraint went past on the right). It was the same corner – I recognized the quad. Others went down as well, Andreas Kloden among them. Think there might’ve been something on the second corner too. Looks like most people have got back up.

Why would Hoogerland even try and break the pack only for him to be caught….and passed like he has been. Seems strange to put the effort in only to go backwards at the alarming rate he has done.

hoogerland was doing it for the exposure – he probably wont finish the event imo – so he is just marketing him self.
