At what point does the Thames flood barrier become in-effective?

Not really the first human evac due to climate change, I’m sure over the millenia humans have had to move and take shelter due to shifts in climate.

Indeed, just look at the fens, poole harbour etc.

The point of the programme is that this is already happening to an extent here with more rapid sea level changes to come.

Incidentally some areas of our coast have been eroding at dozens of feet a year with people having to evacuate.

The earth will carry on just fine without us. We are just animals, animals damaging our own environment and killing ourselves off, all fairly natural.

Thames Barrier will be ineffective in about 50 years going by current trends.
