    Is this a stupid thing to do.

    I have a bullit with a full one point five head tube.

    Been offered some totems with a tapered steerer at a good price.

    Is there anything wrong in doing this.

    I have the headset all sorted out to fit one point five at the bottom and 1.125 at the top.
