thinking about splashing the cash on a pair of these, so are they as good and water proof as the hype, whats your experience with them?

I ordered a pair in Nov 08, they arrived in Sep 09…

But, they are fantastic. Totally warm, windproof and waterproof.

I use them with the Stealth jacket.

But you should've had them for the weather we've had over the last three months.

Too late in the year to be considering them. They really are toasty warm, but too much for recent temperatures. I've found that they're not so waterproof now. Anyone (had to) successfully re-waterproof theirs?
