I’m in the Vets National road race Championships.
Fairly short route for a Nats, 60 miles.
In the 50-55 age group.
Lasting one lap with the group is the aim.
I’m S***ing bricks.
I’ll have five open road races, nine crits and two XC’s under my belt this year before I line up.

Had a long chat with some LVRC bods today, and as a result I’m off to Belgium on the 4th of August to race in the ICF world road race championships.
Strange how it affected my training today.
