OK, so its around 2 years old but never been dropped or owt, but it just keeps pressing/activating the ‘back’ button itself. It’s outside the 1yr warranty so their repair center won’t go there, but is there anywhere (recommended, ideally) worth trying to get it repaired at?

Just seems a waste to send it to landfill.

Bloody phone went tits up at the w/e too 👿

If your gentle with it and take your time they are usually not that hard to get into to have a look yourself. If your lucky there could just be some crud jamming the button itself, if not the microswitch could be worn out in which case a repair of some sort is needed.

Internet usually has instructions somewhere of how to get into them and there could even be a fix already written about and parts available. I’ve recently revived my tablet with a new battery from ebay and from looking several parts were available for other issues if needed.

Thanks, might as well give that a go.
