    Good move getting rid of the car alloys.

    Sticking to the homoginised units as per jamies advice is always a good idea in terms of suspension wear , geometry handling and safety.

    Looks come second to all the above.

    I wood have thought that the physical strain associated with going at 155mph on the autobahn in a fully loaded bimmer estate would be far higher than pootling around in a (mostly unloaded) van with a top speed of 90mph.

    I mean I’m sure that BMW wheels are possibly illegal. But dangerous? Doubt it.

    Are there any wobbly wheel bearings?
