I have just bought a cube and it needs a syntace rear axle. Converted my pro 2 no problem but seems no one in UK stocks axles! Really? Am I going to have to buy from bike discount de?

Dt swiss x12 its about 80quid , mine was made out of cheese, wouldn’t recomend at all. You need 142mm x 12 axle . I’ve just brought the syntace x12 from bike discount.de its by far the cheapest option and it gets the job done.

The DT axle doesn’t require any tools to use, the Syntace axle requires an alan key. Personally, I’d go for the cheapest option, £80 for a threaded bolt is ridiculous.

Especially a threaded bolt that can come apart in your frame… oh and a plastic handle that can break, can you tell i don’t like them ? 🙂
