Hi, I’m thinking of buying a Scott Genius, which has Syncros hubs. While it’s a deal, I don’t have the money to buy Hope wheels straight away so was wondering if anyone has had these and what the reliability is like?

Depends on how a posh a Genius it is, Syncros is Scott’s in-house component brand now.

The top-end Scotts use hubs with DT Swiss internals which are excellent, as you’d expect, the lower end ones use generic cheapies.
