Leaving drinks last night and a birthday a couple of weeks ago, both heavy nights.

Woke up both times with swollen lymph nodes in my armpit (different armpit each time if that makes a difference?). It went down in about 3 days last time. Have I become allergic to alcohol or something?

    Could be a coincidence.

Do you eat plenty of deep fried, oven baked and grilled foods? If so you need to cut down drastically.

If you get swollen lymph nodes in neck then that’s a sign of something serious to come if not deal with early.

edit: detox, detoxified whatever, eat healthy food and rest well.

Not allergic but get yourself checked out as its a possible symptom for something very serious (from family experience).

It may well be nothing but one of the lads who lived in my village was diagnosed with a lymphoma on the basis that he was getting odd symptoms like that with alcohol. Nobody can give you an internet diagnosis but it warrants a visit to a Doctor to get proper advice about that.

It can totally be normal but you need to get the doctor to check it out.

Keep a close observation of the development.

Also run your fingers through the areas around your neck and the back to see if you get “bumps” if so go have proper check up.

Or a sign of **** all and just you’re body doing what it does.

If it’s persistent or regularly happens over a period of weeks then maybe get checked out.

Yeap, could just be normal body reaction.

Ya, if they don’t go away or keep coming back you’re in trouble.

The body is fighting all kind of viral nasties at the moment – wouldn’t put it past coincidence, perhaps the alcohol is promoting/inhibiting some other kind of immune response. Still suggests that drinking binges may not be good for you.

Hard, persistent lump in the nodes on the neck/armpit/groin – definitely get checked up. Transient one – less worrying, may just be the body doing its thing, but if it carries on doing it, or you get other symptoms etc etc.
