On the Singular Swift. What’s the best EBB position to run 2 x 10? i.e. where should the little hole be?

Building one up tonight for a summer epic.

    Cheers all.

Usually as low as possible – lower CoG and if it should slip (which mine never has, mind) it’ll tend to slip to the lower position.

That said, mine is in the top position (12 o’clock) because that’s where it had to be to get the double specific front mech to work without hitting the chainstay. I now don’t have a front mech (running 1x now) but I’ve still left it in the top position.

Up and forewards, IMO the position least likely to slip as chain tension is pulling it backwards, and is ballanced by the pedal pushing down.

It probably makes very little difference, I suppose backwards and down would give the shortest stays and lowest BB, which is trendy.

At the back for shorter chainstays – will transform the ride.
