my 2.4" RR is in really good nick, but alas does not really fit my frame. it's a great tyre though! ideally someone in edinburgh to swap? will consider other narrower tyres too!

Got a folding Conti MK 2.4 (they come up narrow) or Intense System 4 2.25 - both new - that I'd swap.

Intense is a bit like a ralph I think, link here.

Not in Edinburgh though.

thanks chapaking - possibly interested in the intense tyre - already got a MK and that ain't gonna fit either. but i should warn - i have used this tyre so it's not brand new. no cuts or missing knobs, but not super-sharp knobblies. i'll try find my digital camera and post a shot later...

hey chakaping, i'm gonna give this a miss - i've had a look at some write-ups for the intense tyre and it's not really what i'm after. shame your MK isn't 2.2", that would have matched the front (2.4") nicely! sorry about that, and cheers
