  • Swan neck towbar – Flange adaptor?

New car to me means that my flange bike rack doesn’t fit the detachable swan neck towbar.

Is there an adaptor to bolt onto the ball to convert to flange or if I got a 2nd swan neck could I get a flange face welded onto the swan towball?

Or just buy another bike rack, currently have the Aiston cycle rack which is bomb proof not really wanting to change.

I understand what you are after, but I don’t think that it exists. Might be worth looking up Watling Towbars, they do one offs etc.

Might be difficult to modify a swan neck as the mod will then mean the towbar no longer meets type approval.

This should do the job, not tidy but cheaper than a new rack.
