As per a previous thread i posted about lower lube service on my forks. I have an outstanding query?

    Forks….Rockshox Revelation Race Dual Air 150mm 2010

Query…. How much oil in each lower?. (SRAM says on site 5ml is that a little low?).

Its for lubrication – i always put more in say around 15-20ml. In my fox 36’s i put around 70ml in there to keep them sweet.

Its only for lube. I tend to put a little more in – but depending on the exact design you run the risk of getting hydraulic lock and not getting full travel / blowing seals if you put more in. make sure you soak the foam rings as well

My SRAM 2009 guide says 15ml of 15wt per side for Rev lowers

yeah it says 5 cc in the tech docs for mine, i used 15 cc in my 2011s.

No hydraulic lock or air ramp up from the air trapped in the lowers.

By the way, i highly recommend the 15wd oil that LoCo is selling, really good. Much more slippy than whatever is in there from the OEM.
