Ive got a 2011 mondraker foxy R with the standard fox float rp2 shock.
I’ve noticed an unusual spring or give from my frame when I’m cornering hard on a berm. It only happens very occasionally on trail centre berms going flat out when I compress into the turn. It’s a strange springy sensation that feels pretty similar to when one of the pivot bolts came loose.
It doesn’t happens over rocks, drops or jumps in a straight line.
The shock is set at the recommended 30% sag and rebound feels ok to me generally.
There is more lateral play to the frame/wheel than in previous bikes but all he pivot bolts are tight

    Any ideas?

A riding buddy of mine has a Mondraker too and loves it. But I’m pretty sure he had issues with his pivots or bushes initially. Can’t remember the details, but it seemed to be a known issue. As far as i’m aware he’s sorted it now, so there must be a fix out there. I’ve not seen him for a while but i’ll ask him about it.
