Hi i have a giant anthem x 2011, the suspension bearings have got play in them so ive ordered a set of new bearings from ebay (ka tec) im not all that confident in the method of pressing them in with a socket on the outter race especially on the frame bearings as its difficult trying to support the frame while trying to get the bearings in straight and i would like something a little more presise for the job, i have 3 different sized bearings an RRP do the presses individually for around 20 quid (so 60 in total for my aplication) ….. is there anything else on the market that isnt going to cost me 60 quid ? im struggling finding anything via google 🙂

I brought a bearing replace kit from giant through LBS for a NRS cost about £30, loads of bolts and mandrels.
Fits loads of bikes, try any giant dealer, if they don’t stock, which is more than likely, ask them to order. Any good shop will.
