  • Surrond sound v sound bar?

    My DVD cinema surrond sound system has packed up….sould I by another system or a new DVD player with a sound bar…any thoughts pls 🙂

    If your room and mrs can take a 5.1 system. 5.1 all the way.

    Already wired up for surround, then surround.

    Not wired for surround, wire up and then surround.

    Splendid…surround is the way to go then…seen a Sony BDVe2100 5.1 for a couple of hundred with banging reviews…sweet..

    Sound bar is ok for quality but sound is definitely coming from over there and is not surround. Got a bar, wish I’d gone with surround

    Im not wires for surround. I was offered a mental deal on a Cambridge Audio TV2 soundbase.

    Its good 8)

    I’d bought a Phillips soundbar before- it was like a small ghetto blaster. It went back as ‘faulty’. No depth.
