Just been for a blast round leith hill and summer lightning…. Few questions :

1) where the hell does summer lightning finish? Road the first half about 4 times and could not find the loop back as the signposts seem to end. Ended up in someone’s back garden.

2) have all mtbers turned in to roadies? All trails were deserted… But must have passed about 10,000 roadies.

1) – sort of 3 sections to SL: the last section is flatish with all the plastic tree/sapling planted which drops you out on a fireroad…go right as you finish SL and follow it back up, bear left towards the top to take you back to the start

2) – try peaslake if you want to see more mtbers but yes I dont see too many folk whilst out

Usually Park over walking bottom and ride Holmbury / pitch but though I would try the “new” summer lightning. Twas alright. Back to walking bottom next time!
