Going for not much money at the mo so thought about getting some.
Soft as cheese or ok?
Will be using 2.25s on them so would they be ok, internal width is 18mm so sounds a bit narrow even though they say ok for up to 2.4 tyres?

Tough as old boots. Been running a set for 3 years and they’ve never needed any attention. I’ve ran every conceivable tyre on them, including some massive 2.5 Nevegals, with zero problems

Have a set of these on my HT. The XC’s are run with 2.1 Crossmarks with no problems apart from a the odd pinchflat. Any bigger and I use the other set I bought with AM rims run tubeless.
