Well, i took the plunge and ordered some this week, they arrived today and fitted to the bike no problem.
The freehub is quiet, the pick up seems quick and they weigh bugger all, Superstar claim 1500g for the pair and on my kitchen scales that seems spot on….better than the 2200g OEM DT-Swiss wheels they have replaced.
Went for a quick ride this afternoon, the wheels are still true, no spokes came loose and the bearings didnt explode!
I opted for the 30mm deep rims as i’m around 14st and thought the 24mm ones might be a bit flexy.
All in all very pleased with them, for £150 i was fully prepared to have to visit the LBS today to have them trued up….i chose the white rims to go with my white bike, looking at it in my front room it is possibly overkill now with the white but i’m sure it’ll grow on me.
