    Hey all

    Busted my forks so needed new ones. 26″ 100mm fox forks are tough to find these days!

    Found some on crc but they were 9mm qr not 15mm like my previous fork. No problem, superstar do a hub adapter to suit my superstar switch ultra hub.

    So it arrives. TOTALLY WRONG SIZE. Its about an inch too long and doesnt sit inside the bearing.

    Anyone else tried converting the same?

    Easy enough to get the drive side cap off but the non drive side will absolutely not budge. Is there a tool to unscrew the cap?

    I went the other way, 9mm quick release to 15mm. I don’t remember having any problems getting them both off from memory, they just pulled off. Did they send you the wrong ones by accident?

    I have done the same (15mm to 9mm) and it worked fine. No problems whatsoever.

    Old ones pulled out. New ones pushed in.

    Were the adaptors you bought for the switch ultra lite hubs rather than the switch ultra? There’s a difference…

    Or could you have accidentally ordered for the wrong hub adaptors?

    I’ve got switch and switch ultra hubs and 15 and qr adaptors interchange fine.
