Just had a look at the Uberbike components website after seeing the pads in the fresh goods post and the logo reminded me of another cut price brake supplier. Is this paranoia or is there a relationship between the companies?

Has Fruit moved then? I seem to remember when Uber spammed on here, it came to light that he's from Sheffield.

Looks like my paranoia then (and maybe uberbikes trying to trade off superstar components reputation 😉 )

EDIT: I use superstar pads on all my bikes without issue so cheeky comment above meant in good humour before this kicks off another superstar bashing thread…

think Uberbike is sommat to do with 'Valleydaddy' on here
He responded to my clasifieds plea for some old reflectors last week and posted some out FOC which was very kind so thanks to him
when they came there was an Uberbike business card in the envelope, it worked I have the site bookmarked and will try theri brake pads next time I need replacements

Nowt to do with me Iain I assure you, I ordered some pads from them the other week and they sent me a ton of business cards with them so instead of sending them to landfill/recycling I thought I'd help them spread the word on this start up business as I thought anyone needs all the help they can get starting a new business so I passed on the word and dropped a card in your parcel.

Glad to help with the reflectors 😉

PS the pads seem great so far

Surely it should be 'Überbike', rather than 'Uberbike'.

    I find the Umlautlessness distasteful.
