Due to the disgustingly inclement weather we are having in Herefordshire at the moment decided to turn to drink.
Made the wife a tequila sunrise. Myself – Just had a cheap french beer to start then a half pint of Harvey Wallbanger with a dash of grenadine – very nice.
Feeling much better now + not bothered about the weather.

Kick it in an old school flavour with a Tom Collins;

Jerry Thomas' Tom Collins Gin (1876)
(Use large bar-glass.)
Take 5 or 6 dashes of gum syrup.
Juice of a small lemon.
1 large wine-glass of gin.
2 or 3 lumps of ice;
Shake up well and strain into a large bar-glass. Fill up the glass with plain soda water and drink while it is lively

ambrosia creamed rice pudding and baileys. dollop of jam. mmmmm.
