    Why wouldn’t anyone?

Except if you don’t drink at all of course.

Normally, yes. However I’m on a dry January and finding Monday mornings a little easier for abstaining. Will review in Feb.

I had a pint with my Carvery for lunch. I don’t really have any hard rules for drinking….I rarely drink on a school night, but that’s because I don’t get in from work until quite late most nights. I wouldn’t think anything of having a glass of red wine any day of the week though. All things in moderation etc

3 pints in the local and feel squiffy. Chilling for a while before i finish last nights bottle of red.

its a wind down drink, I only really drink at weekends and Sunday is a weekend day after all.

I usually open a bottle of red on Saturday, don’t finish it and have the rest Sunday (or it needs pouring away)

Bottle of Wainwright and a couple of glasses of red set aside for this evening.

Can’t drink in the day though, it makes me go to sleep.

Sounds familiar, just polished the dinner off, just gearing misen up for the washing up now.

The you cook/i wash up always seems like a good deal at the time too 🙂

    What’s malbec?

@Drac – work tmro would be a good reason to some.

    @ porlus – can’t beat the squiffy feeling 🙂

True but 1 pint at lunch time is no big deal.

I’m not drinking today as what out last night and I have work in about an hour.

far too early in the day. besides, busy brewing & I need to watch the pot doesn’t boil over.

later though? glass or two of merlot, one or two beers then bed. Not starting before 9.30-10.00

The best of all the drinkings as far as I know.
Soon as the suns over the yardarm(lunchtime) it’s homebrew time.

    What’s malbec?

Usually an Argentinian wine. And very nice, too.

30 muddy miles and then 6 pints of Holdens* Golden in the pub on the way home.

Need to replace those burnt off calouries. 😉

*They sponsor one of our local clubs so it must be good as a recovery drink. 😆

I used to, but since changing jobs 2 years ago and with the onset of ever worsening hangovers I have stopped it.

When I used to be a drinker I used to love Sunday drinks. The fact you had to be in work the next day meant it was the kind of thing you shouldn’t really do so therefore more fun. Funnily enough only ever did it if I had the Monday off but it never really detracted from that fun!

Just cracked open a bottle of kernel export India porter to have with the chicken and leek pie.
Maybe those who have had to give up drinking on a Sunday should learn to drink in moderation 🙄

Going through a bottle of homebrew cider, it gets better every week that goes by, it’s not vintage though 🙂

My “Sunday” can be any day of the week. The joy of shift work.

So everyday is a drinking day
