Selling my GF Fat Possum full sus frame and getting a hardtail.

Current forks are Rock Shox Pikes 6" coil. I have my eye on the Kinesis maxlight XC120 2010 frame.

Got any other suggestions before I buy for other frames that would work well with with a long travel fork to give a good all round XC bike that can also take a bit of a beating?

Incidentally if your interested in a 2006 Fat Possum XO frame i'll be getting rid of it soon, has a Manitou swinger 4-way SPV coil shock to beef it up from the original air shock.

I would second a 456. Also pikes are 5.5" 😉

the 120 is a great bike, but if you are basing it around pikes, they will be a bit ott for the frame… Its light, and i dont really belive it's made for jumps etc. some revs, fox 32's etc would match that frame better, or something like a chameleon or cotic sould would match the forks better imo

Thanks guys, i'll consider the 456, the price does make it attractive compared to the XC120.

I did look at the chameleon but it wouldn't stretch my budjet more as tear it to shreds.
