    Very sad

Both his writing and voice will be missed greatly by cricket fans

Can we wrap Aggers up in cotton wool now?

Very very sad. No more reports of what wildlife is in the outfield or the number of the bus that you can glimpse between the stands.

think you’ll find that’s Blowers (Henry Blofeld), and he’s still with us, just.

I am also very sad at the news that CMJ has died.He along with many other commentators was part of my youth growing up listening to TMS and the age of 67 really does seems wrong, my heart goes out to his family. His eloquent commentary will always be part of my TMS team.RIP

The TMS team always referred to him as the late CMJ due to his appealing timekeeping. I trust in suitably irreverent TMS terms they will now refer to him as the late the late CMJ.

thoughts to his family, I knew his niece a few years back.

As was said when Jonners went to the great pavilion in the sky, “Summers will never be the same again”

I knew him through his sister in law and was lucky enough to spend a while with him over the years. 67 is no innings for a man like CMJ. No innings at all. 🙁

    Rest in peace, CMJ.
