I might come along, still haven't converted my mtb to SS though so it'll be one of my first off-road SS rides and I'll probably die halfway round. I also don't have a beard, is there any hope for me?

and yes Tom if you're not dead half way round I've made it too easy.Just a thought for Rich and anyone else who fancies it there is a bunk house attached to the Fountain Inn Pub at Parkend, get yourselves in there for the night, the start is only a couple of flat miles from there.
