Sniffing around looking at a 2002 Skoda Fabia Elegance - a/c, roof rack and some other crap. It has a 2.0 litre petrol engine which seems to be a bit less common and Band J VED. Seller is VAG dealer so I assume it's a trade-in. They say it has a FSH and has had its cambelt changed. 2000 quid listed but assume that's fairly negotiable.
The Octavia is the preferred estate around here, generally, isn't it? I'm not too bothered about space and although the 2.0 petrol won't be the most efficient, I don't think I'll be doing enough miles per year to get upset about it all.
Is the fact that it's not that common a bad thing? Or is it just a Skoda like all the rest so common as muck?
