What do you use to keep your watches in? I’m looking for a six watch box, and all I can decide is what I don’t want – faux leather or veneered plywood. Everything I can find seems to have been designed c. 1973…

In answer to your original question, the boxes they came in.

Much prefer the tangents this thread is taking though.

I’m looking for a six watch box

    a) What’s happened to Sunday’s watch ?
    b) Are you sure you’ll never add another watch to your collection.
    c) Try not to allow the box to cost more than the watches you keep in it.
    d) Have you considered a display cabinet of glass and lights, in a jeweller’s shop styleee.

Thanks Solo, but after all the other great ideas in this thread I think I’m going to keep them in a dead dog or a bin bag. I think I could fit six or seven watches in a cocker spaniel.

Why not cut off Horas arms and store them on those?

Its a win win though the downside is off course his internet typing would be much reduced

the well dressed dog would wear nothing less than 4 watches at any point, one on each leg.

I remember a book called 101 Uses For A Dead Cat, I’m sure there must be a few hints and tips in there. 😀

for my sins, I have one of these:

Carbon fibre finish so very STW.

A bit pricey, but does look cool (was a present).
