I want to be able to make love espresso. Nothing else. Just espresso. So what would be the best, cheapest way of doing this? Which machine would you suggest?

Does a stovetop moka pot count? I know it’s not a true espresso but it works for us and is v cheap and easy to use (um, so long as you (a) remember to put water in and (b) remember to put the metal filter plate in!)

Really really trying not to make a joke about it being better to make love slowly… Failing…

Standard answer is probably a battered commercial grinder paired with Gaggia Classic, bought used from eBay doable for less than £150.

What about those wee Tasimo /Nespresso machines? Good? Shit? Something between good and shit?
